Company description
GoHive Rideshare is Regina's first locally-built Transportation Network Company, founded in February 2026 by Smitsinh Thakor, a University of Regina international student. GoHive operates on a zero-commission model where drivers keep 100% of every base fare and pay only a flat daily, weekly, or monthly subscription. Riders pay 23% less than Uber with full fare transparency — every fee itemized before booking. Both the GoHive rider app and GoHive Captains driver app are live on the Apple App Store. GoHive is registered in Saskatchewan (SR1961585) and operates under the Saskatchewan Vehicles for Hire Act and Regina Bylaw 2019-9. GoHive's mission is to keep money in Regina by giving local drivers a fair, transparent, and profitable alternative to Uber.
